Little Star Ski Drive
Do you have cross country skis or boots your kids have grown out of ? Consider donating them to the students of Little Star! We’re looking for skis and boots to fit children ages 3-5 to build a library so our classes can access the amazing trails this winter and for many future winters to come. Contact info@littlestarschool.org or swing by the Winthrop Office with your donation. With your help, we can make skiing more accessible to our valley’s kids!

Little Star sparks curiosity, compassion and a sense of community through joyful learning and discovery.
We provide outstanding Montessori-inspired education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners in the Methow Valley. With a campus in Winthrop and Twisp, our programs support children, families, employers and the health of our community.
“One of the gifts of the Montessori tradition is that we see who the kids are, what they’re interested in, what sparks them, what excites them, and we build on that. Because once you start building on their confidence, they can do anything.”
